New Layout of BBC News

I noticed that the BBC News Page has been updated, or I mean enhanced. At first, I didn't quite like the look of it but as time went by, I realized it's more pleasing to the eyes and more catchy. Upgrading the architecture of this site was really a job well done to BBC News Team.

Content-wise, the posts have relatively improved. As you can see, categorization was simpler and easier to understand although every page seems to carry so much character weight. I would also like to comment on its other features. Every now and then, I click on the Most Popular tab as those enlisted really appear interesting.

And most of all, I give a big round of applause to all the writers, editors and journalists of BBC News. Without them and their inherent expertise, I wouldn't be hooked much on every new link that appears whenever I visit the BBC News Home Page.

How I Got Interested in BBC News

There was a time when the country was shook by a tragic news, I forgot what it was so let's skip that part Way back 2008, I  became more interested in news and current affairs which are happening in the country and overseas. I visited Google and typed in the words "international news". From that moment, I was able to visit cnn.com, abs-cbnnews.com, inquirer.net, gmanews.tv, and bbcnews.com.

Among those sites, BBC News was the most appealing site. I did not realize that my viewing behavior of it was becoming outrageous and addictive. For me, BBC News was the media and news publishing counterpart of social network giant Facebook. I really love the facade of the site, the content and most of all, the pictures that its photographers magnificently capture during certain historic events. There can be no reason why I won't keep my eyes off this page as it already contains everything that I need to know about the outskirts of our nation.

If I were a critic, I would like to grade BBC News an A+ for maintaining its reputation as a nonprofit, nonpolitical, and nonpartisan news agency with an incredible and extensive global reach for the purpose of informing the citizens of the world about the status quo in humanity.
